The Jai & Somna Gulati Foundation (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what information this website collects and how we use it.
What we collect
- Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, how you’re reaching out (for example, student club or volunteer) and your message. It is emailed to our team so we can reply.
- Donations. Donations are processed by Donorbox and its payment partners. We receive your name, email, donation amount and any address you provide so we can send receipts and thank you. We never see or store your full card number. Donorbox’s own privacy policy applies to information you give them.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cookies are only set if you log in to manage the site.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to you, process and acknowledge donations, keep required records, and keep this website secure. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Photos on this site
Photos show community events we hosted or sponsored. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, email us and we will take it down.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through this site.
Public records
As a 501(c)(3) private foundation, we file an annual Form 990-PF with the IRS. That return, including grants we make, is a public record. Individual donor names may appear where required by law.
